Frosted Felt

Winter Wool, Story & Stillness at Glencruitten House

Step into the quieter beauty of the Highlands for Frosted Felt, a richly creative winter retreat with acclaimed felt artist Moy Mackay.

Hosted at Glencruitten House, a private country estate nestled within the forests of the Scottish Highlands, this immersive retreat invites guests to slow down, create, and be inspired by the textures of winter: misted glens, frost-lit mornings, softened landscapes, woodland paths, sea air, and the warmth of shared stories.

Across the retreat, guests will explore felt, stitch, colour, and composition while enjoying nourishing meals, beautiful accommodation, live music, peaceful time in Oban, and the atmosphere of a house steeped in myth and Highland character.
